The smoke rises up into the sky, As the fire crackles and the sparks fly, Rednecks gather 'round with a grin, Ready for a good ol' BBQ again. The meat sizzles on the hot grill, As the scent of smoke fills the air with a thrill, The ribs and brisket cooked to perfection, Rednecks take their time, no rush, no tension. The beer flows freely, cold as can be, As the sun sets behind the tall oak tree, Laughter and chatter fill the space, As rednecks enjoy the simple embrace. The sound of music fills the air, From the radio, a country song blares, Rednecks sway to the rhythm and beat, In the warmth of the summer's heat.
